Marshview Landing Case History

Located in north Mentor Ohio adjacent to the Mentor Marsh. The Villages of Marshview is the first “Gated” community approved in the City. Marshview, an 80 acre parcel, was one of last large undeveloped parcel in the City of Mentor. The site was rezoned from a traditional style 100 half-acre lot subdivision to a Residential Village Green,184 envelope lot single family, no-maintenance living community. Barrington provided the concept sketches and preliminary plans to entice the city’s leaders to acceptance the rezoning. The “Marshview Theme” is highlighted by the main boulevard of the development. The entrance of the development portrays a feeling of community, security, tranquility and consistent design aesthetics. Barrington worked closely with developer to ensure the final engineering plans contained the vision of the developer. Barrington provided the construction layout for the all the site improvements. Barrington also provided the individual site plans and construction staking for the homes.
