FEATURED PROJECTColumbia School ProjectColumbia Schools embarked on a major project for the school district and is in the second and third phases of the Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade for its high school and Elementary School. Phase I of the plan was to hire an engineer to successfully develop an approved Ohio E.P.A. plan. After interviewing a long list of applicants, the Columbia School Board selected Barrington Consulting Group, Inc. The plans have been completed and approved by the Ohio E.P.A. and now the equipment fabrication and construction phases are within sight. The plant improvements must be in place by spring of 2008. The upgrade was mandated by Ohio E.P.A. since the effluent has not been meeting the high standards of the environmental pollution law. Barrington’s knowledge and experience in wastewater plant design has resulted in an innovative design that has significantly reduced the construction cost. This new design incorporates state-of-the-art features with lower maintenance and operating cost. The mission of the Columbia Local School District is to promote an academically enriching curriculum and a safe and healthy environment for students and staff though a comprehensive and publicly accountable system of policies and performance. Barrington is proud to be part of the Columbia Local School District mission. This professional relationship will benefit the students, employees and taxpayers of the Columbia School District. |
